This position is responsible for finding, souring, attracting and hiring talent with the goal to full-fill WorkCare’s hiring needs.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of overall recruitment strategy

  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives

  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites

  • Source candidates by using databases and social media

  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters

  • Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates skills as needed

  • Conduct phone, tele-conference and/or in-person interviews

  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers

  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions

  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods

  • Attend job fairs and careers events

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates throughout the candidate’s lifecycle from initial contact to start date

  • Determine the effectiveness and success of current recruitment plans and strategies

  • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates

  • Use multi-channel approach to recruit

  • Plan and implement a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants

  • Adhere to laws, rules and regulations

  • Adhere to personal data privacy regulations

  • Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare

  • B.A./B.S. in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience

  • Experience recruiting in healthcare industry a plus

  • Experience with an ATS system

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work

  • Demonstrated ability to source candidates at all levels within an organization

  • Leverages recruiting resources such as the internet, internal applicant referrals, career fairs, professional organizations, etc. to identify, recruit and network for candidates

  • Ability to evaluate job applicants according to listed job requirements and conduct interviews by phone or in person

  • Ability to build and foster effective relationships internally and externally

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with college career centers and staff

  • Proven organizational skills and the ability succeed in an environment with competing demands, high volume and a fast-paced environment

  • Understand aspects of compensation and can work with stakeholders and candidates to create offers which are compelling and aligned with internal procedures

  • A track record of demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability

  • Must be able to adjust and is flexible to meet changing work needs and demands

  • Must have a strong customer focus, a demonstrated ability to work within a team of service-oriented individuals and a passionate commitment for extraordinary levels of service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations
