Position Description:The Global Account Manager is focused on growing incremental sales and improving the profitability of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Healthcare targeted accounts in the Healthcare Division. The primary responsibility will be to identify and close selling opportunities with customers and market leaders in areas that fit our core competencies.Principle Accountabilities:Achieve annual sales target within budgeted operating expensesExpansion of sales pipeline to achieve targeted growth plansServe as primary interface to set the stage developing customer confidence in all Ecolab offeringsDevelop and execute effective commercial strategies to maximize base business and secure new business, accomplished by deploying life cycle management strategies ensuring the dynamics of legacy and new product innovation (NPI) mixDuties and Responsibilities:Maintain and cultivate executive relationships with key decision makers and influencers within assigned Global AccountsResponsible for managing accounts which involves maintaining good communication with key customers, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability of all products soldDevelop robust business plans supporting revenue targets and growing NPI pipelineMaintain and grow knowledge of industry trends, competitors, competitive offerings, and impact on customers and prospectsProvide customer forecast information and communicate to planning teamCollaborate with all functional Ecolab project managers (RD&E, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to achieve revenue expectationsPartner with the internal cross-functional teams to prepare and provide proposals to customers for phases of developmentMonitor sales trends and activity related to product responsibilityConduct key account business reviews routinelyInterface and travel with/to customers as needed - 50% global travel expectedEmbrace Ecolab culture by following through on commitments, modeling ethical practices, and interacting genuinely with othersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree7+ years of Healthcare Sales and/or Manufacturing Industry Sales experienceProven track record of successful sales and budget attainmentProficiency with MS Office softwareWillingness and ability to work after business hours, including overnight travel and attending Trade Shows on weekendsThis remote position is based in the...
