Exempt/Non-Exempt:Non-ExemptScheduled Hours Per Week:40Myers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health care reimbursement consulting firm, specializing in audit, accounting, data management and consulting services to government-sponsored health care programs (primarily state Medicaid agencies, and the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services). Essential Functions: Conduct literature review and research topics assigned Develop and present clear, comprehensive, and cohesive summaries of findings from research conducted Perform analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and accurately convert into useable information Possess and apply a solid understanding of the health care landscape Respond to inquiries and requests timely and efficiently Professional in appearance and manner Maintain a positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer Additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements: Intern must be working toward or recently completed a Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Services Administration, or related field Master's degree Strong knowledge of the health care industry with Medicaid knowledge preferred Proficient user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments Must be able to work in a team environment Submission of a writing sample will be required prior to job offer.REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION If you are a qualified individual with a disability you may request reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access this site as a result of your disability.
