Georgia Employer HEALTHCARE CONTRACT ANALYST in Atlanta, Georgia

Right now, we are looking for an experienced Contract Analyst who has previously supported healthcare software applications or served in a healthcare contract management role. The Contract Analyst will serve as a business contact for our clients regarding contract management and is responsible for maintaining client's managed care and government contracts. A successful candidate for this Contract Analyst role will establish himself/herself as a trusted advisor and liaison to the client. This position's main responsibility will be to serve as the primary contact for our customers regarding contracts, including implementing new contracts, updating existing contracts, validating contract terms, and addressing any client issues or concerns. An ideal candidate for this position can approach problem-solving challenges independently, a strong attention to detail, enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative and team-based environment.What you'll be doing: * Responsible for implementing contract terms in Waystar's Contract Management solution * Perform validation of contract terms by reviewing account examples and confirming correct contract term and expected reimbursement generated * Manage the contract workflow to ensure timely and accurate implementation of contracts * Responsible for collaborating with client during contract interpretation and validation stagesWhat we're looking for:* Bachelor degree* 1 year of contract analyst experience in healthcare software or healthcare consulting environment* Ability to interpret contract language from managed care contracts * Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines from CMS, Tricare, and Medicaid websites* Ability to understand the vocabulary used in a hospital's revenue cycle operations, including healthcare coding such as DRGs, CPT/HCPC, Revenue Codes, APG and APC * An in-depth subject matter expertise and dedication to remaining current with industry and/or relevant legislative changes and advances* Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills* Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications* Detail-oriented* Prior experience working in a contract management role preferredWaystarprovides cloud-based technology that simplifies and unifies healthcare payments.Together, our technology, data and client support streamline workflows and improve financials for our clients, so that they can focus on their patients.
