We’re seeking a ROCK STAR IT Security & Compliance Manager who will develop and manage Information systems cybersecurity, including disaster recovery, database protection and ensure that all internal applications are functional and secure for end users. If you want to make a difference, keep reading. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal IT equipment and internal IT security

  • Collaborates with various teams on internal risk assessment as it relates to impact on internal users

  • Support all Azalea employees with IT related questions

  • Serve as the focal point of contact for information security for internal users

  • Manage and contribute to the SOC 2 process in collaboration with other key stakeholders

  • Monitor compliance, including HIPAA, overseeing & delegating compliance activities within the organization

  • Ensure that business processes remain secure without disruptions or compromising events

  • Select a security framework ( that is in line with Azalea’s market position and goals

  • Communicate the security standards and plan with each department lead

  • Oversee information internal security audits, whether performed by organization or third party personnel

  • Create and manage remediation plans based on audit findings, coordinating with department leads

  • Designing secure networks and understanding how components, such as antivirus software and endpoint security solutions, work together to create a secure network.

  • Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement

  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment

  • Collaborate with internal operations and third-party vendors to ensure that any new hardware or software installation on the organization’s network meets business and security standards.

  • Collaborates with internal Privacy & Security Committee, 3rd party compliance vendors & consultants, administration, and legal counsel if necessary to identify and address privacy policies and procedures that require improvement.

  • Develops and provides training on security requirements and procedures to organization personnel, onboarding and continuing security education

  • Evaluates the organization’s existing policies and procedures as it relates to security. Develops and assists with implementation of new and updated policies and procedures.

  • Communicate information security goals and new programs effectively with other department managers within the organization

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to triage and prioritize work.

  • Thorough understanding of related information privacy laws and regulations including those governing access, release of information, and security technologies.

  • Ability to explain and present complex information clearly and thoroughly.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, while providing white-glove service to internal end users.

  • Highly proficient in security related risk management and software security.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

  • At least 5 years of IT and Security related experience required.

  • 2+ years of end user device management experience required.

  • 2+ years of security audit ownership experience required.

  • HIPAA/Healthcare experience is required.
