HST aims to maximize value creation from technology-based and-enabled organizations across the Healthcare ecosystem. The Healthcare Services & Technology domain is an interdisciplinary team providing insights into the current and future healthcare landscape to clients across the healthcare ecosystem. The proprietary knowledge, analytics, and solutions of the domain quantify and forecast the shifting sources of value in the healthcare value chain, support growth and performance improvement strategy development, and create the fact base for our clients' most important decisions. You'll be collaborative in this role, partnering with other leaders throughout the firm to make a distinctive impact.The focus of the domain is to bring an integrated view of value drivers in healthcare services and technology ecosystem across buyers, sellers, intermediaries, and financial sponsors. You will develop and deploy deep expertise across a broad set of high impact, at-scale capabilities needed to win in healthcare services and technology. You will build codified knowledge and assets that can be rapidly deployed across clients while maintaining a dynamic understanding of active players and developments across the space. You will form partnerships with other domains to further distinctive client impact (e.g., private equity, post- and pre-acute).What You'll DoYou will lead the HST domain's day to day operations, which includes a variety of responsibilities such as asset management, client development, content creation and overall strategy.In this role, you will be responsible for leading asset management which entails managing refresh and deployment of current assets, strategizing, and creating a robust pipeline of assets, developing assets in the pipeline to support client development and client studies. You will also share and radiate assets across the practice to ensure utilization for client impact. You'll be a leader in client development by tracking and supporting client development activities including leading content creation, setting up follow-ups and managing the pipeline.For content creation and radiation you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and playing a lead or supporting role in HST-affiliated knowledge efforts while occasionally stepping in to lead teams of consultants working on specific content areas as needed. You will also share HST domain & practice insights with McKinsey client teams and supporting client conversations on HST topics as appropriate; supporting the inclusion of HST insights into other firm publications.You'll expand reach & relevance (R&R) strategy & execution by defining the HST domain's R&R pipeline and strategically prioritizing publications as needed; working closely with firm communications, SHaPE practice communications, alumni Relations, the McKinsey Quarterly team to determine and co-ordinate publishing topics and timing; supporting content development for external speaking opportunities.You will have opportunities to provide mentorship to the team by coordinating the efforts and supporting the development of HST affiliated colleagues (e.g., regular check-ins, ensuring fellows are aligned with workstreams that best support their development goals, creating roles that enable fellows to...
