The Regional Quality Engineer is responsible for working with all levels of management & engineering personnel to create & produce a high quality product for our customers.

Primary job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Site Support (40%)

  • Assist with customer problems and the generation of adequate information to communicate opportunities to the plant/corporate level.

  • Support Capability studies (data analysis, trend monitoring, develop reaction plans)

  • Advise sites on technical activities in preparation for audits, certifications, etc

  • Help with determining CAPEX needs and integrating across the division

Continuous Improvement Leadership (30%)

  • Drive Quality Improvement efforts

  • Implement a Six Sigma Green Belt or similar program

  • Share Best Practices across the division

Development/Mentoring for site QEs (20%)

  • Assist with onboarding of new site Quality Engineers

  • Professional development

Quality Agreement/Spec Review (10%)

  • Assist with review and editing of Quality Agreements and other documents approved at the division level

  • Must follow all regulatory laws and guidelines



  • Bachelor's degree in the area of Manufacturing, Engineering or other technical degree is preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Continuous Improvement experience is strongly preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required

  • Prior mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment is preferred

  • Experience in the plastics industry is desired

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)

  • Confident, motivated and the ability to work independently with customers, manufacturing plants and corporate groups while possessing data driven problem solving skills using proven and recognizable techniques

  • Ability to travel 25-30 weeks a year, 3-4 days a week
