The New Partnerships Solutions Group are a team of seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the Canadian healthcare value chain, as well as a breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospitals, health systems, payers and technology providers to address their most pressing concerns including continuously streamlining operations to unlock value and improve healthcare.

Our New Partnerships Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Consulting Program Manager to join our Canadian team to lead operations improvement, care system re-design, digital health and workforce optimization engagements, working directly with senior leadership and clients across the healthcare system.

What you will do:

As a Senior Consulting Program Manager, you will connect with client hospitals to understand and analyze their most pressing operational challenges and deliver high-value services and solutions which improve their quality, productivity, and effectiveness. You will with your team -lead projects across our partnerships to deliver sustainable results and integrate the Groups full service and solutions offerings:

  • drive and sustain complex transformational change and operational excellence

  • design and implement growth strategies

  • develop and streamline technology-enabled patient-focused care pathways

  • help hospitals innovate and optimize operations (e.g. same day discharge, remote, new care model concepts)

  • help physicians and hospital management improve outcomes

In collaboration with the team, you will partner with clients to help them co-design and achieve strategic objectives through potential initiatives like:

  • Clinical operational service delivery reviews and redesign

  • Review and develop strategies and programs at organizational level

  • Health services planning and workforce optimization

  • Clinical Process Redesign across the care continuum

  • Care transformation through digital strategy and enablement

  • Data analytics and targeted optimization / modelling for health system planning and operations improvement

What you bring to the role

You have the experience, passion, ingenuity, and determination to help leading hospital clients improve healthcare and build our consulting practice.

You are a highly motivated leader with an entrepreneurial drive and result-oriented mindset, enthusiastic to take on a variety of challenges and opportunities and inspire stakeholders to pursue the art of the possible and doable in healthcare.

You have strong analytical problem-solving and solution design skills, with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements clearly and articulately.

You have excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with client stakeholders in a way that is honest, consistent, and clear.

You excel in a collaborative team environment to execute on quality project deliverables and coach, mentor, and develop junior talent.

You have stellar facilitation and engagement skills.

Must Haves.

  • Relevant Masters degree in an engineering, medicine, healthcare, life sciences, or business field

  • 10+ years of relevant consulting experience (e.g. strategy consulting at top tier firm, healthcare consulting or 10+ years of healthcare industry experience)

  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare system, including healthcare policies and funding models, healthcare technologies, health system design, and service delivery models and trends

  • Experience dealing with hospitals clinical leaders, staff, and C-suite/Sr. Management/stakeholders

  • Experience working and communicating in international environments and coaching individuals, preferably in matrix organizations

  • Proven track record in driving end to end transformations: from analysis to implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery

  • Willingness to travel within Canada (approx. 30%)

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Master) / Expertise in Human- or User-Centred Design

  • Project / program management skills in Healthcare

  • Problem-solving skills, preferably core consulting skills

Presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

Partnering and collaboration skills (team-player)

Customer and Business sensitivity, able to navigate in a matrix organization

Change management skills

  • Relationship building / customer engagement skills

Nice to have.

Fluent in English and French (written and oral) highly preferred
