Job SummaryThe Healthcare Industry Specialist is responsible for driving Appspace growth within the newly created healthcare vertical. This role includes interaction, strategic planning and execution across sales, marketing, partners and alliances.The result is increased market share and revenue sold through Appspace sellers and our partners. This position can be remote but is expected to be in the US covering all Appspace global markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Appspace leaders to create a growth strategy for Appspace products and services within the healthcare segment - driving revenue growth with both customers and prospective customers.

  • Provide thought leadership for sales materials, marketing collateral, web content and other promotional efforts that help establish Appspace in the healthcare market.

  • Work closely with the partner team to establish key relationships that drive joint go-to- market efforts including campaigns, events, sales efforts and planning.

  • Establish key strategic alliance and alternative channel relationships in conjunction with our Alliance leader. These may include consulting firms, industry experts and complementary software companies that drive opportunities and influence.

  • Work hand in hand with our global sales leaders and their teams on market plans that bring in new opportunities as well as contributing in demonstrations that help Appspace win.

  • Educate the GTM teams on the industry including sales training and other ways to tailor the Appspace message to meet the needs of healthcare buyers.

  • Be THE subject matter expert (SME) on sales calls with the global selling team of Appspace and our partners. This includes deal strategy, demo prep and being a key player on both remote and in person sales calls.

  • Engage with all of our customer facing teams (services, support and success) to both educate and assist in maximizing the customer experience, retention and growth.

  • Identify, attend and actively participate in industry events that drive the Appspace brand into the vertical.

    Job Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of sales, marketing or services experience with at least 3 years’ experience directly in the healthcare technology vertical.

  • Demonstrated record of helping employers achieve/surpass goals and objectives - ideally sales targets.

  • Presentation skills that enhance Appspace’s position in sales pursuits, marketing efforts and overall industry positioning.

  • Knowledge and experience in understanding the needs and operations of healthcare communications, technology and facilities.

  • Collaborative nature that leads to team wins and progress across all areas of Appspace.

  • Familiarity with marketing demand generation that drives leads and revenue.

  • Self-driven and motivated, goal oriented, and a customer-driven sales mentality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

  • Technology savvy and able to quickly pick up new technologies

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Education or Engineering.
