The healthcare sector is rapidly changing. The Director will guide clients through this complex change, ensure client’s continued viability and directly impact the ability of clients to serve society with excellence. Key client responsibilities include those related to:

  • Provide enterprise level consulting services in an advisory capacity focused on assessing, designing, developing, and deploying strategies, programs and solutions.

  • Participate in strategic conversations with C Level client executives regarding migrating to healthcare technologies.

  • Support client delivery efforts focused on pre-implementation activities such as business case development, system selection, and implementation readiness planning.

  • Support additional efforts on other related pre-implementation tasks such as business needs/ requirements definition, systems inventories/mapping, business process analysis, chart of accounts design, and change management/PMO planning.

  • Perform broad assessments of the alignment of the IT, HR or Finance functions with the strategic priorities of the institution, as well as institutional customer needs.

  • Conduct complex analyses of client’s IT, HR organizations, operating models, processes, applications and infrastructure.

  • Participate in the development and presentation of client materials and deliverables.

Additional Details:

  • Assist in developing and sustaining trust-based relationships with C-level executives

  • Provide managerial leadership and best practices throughout the practice.

  • Strategically frame issues and solutions for clients.

  • Consistently demonstrate passion for healthcare.

Required :

  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (1) assessing IT organizations and developing recommendations to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service and (2) developing quantitative and qualitative business cases.

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant managerial experience leading and developing teams.

  • Willingness to travel weekly (typically Monday-Thursday); work extended hours as necessary

Preferred :

  • Consulting Experience

  • An MBA or other relevant advanced degree

  • Knowledgeable on IT topics, including IT Strategy Planning/Assessments, IT Service Management, ITiL, IT Governance, and Information Security.

  • Experience quantifying cost reduction opportunities for an IT organization

  • Demonstrated knowledge in organizational assessment, and strategic planning.
