AnalyticsTech Lead - Software Engineering, Social, Healthcare and Public Entities Who You'll Work WithYou will be based in one of our North American office as part of our Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) practice. You will collaborate with our SHaPE analytics teams in other technology hubs in Chicago, New York and San Jose, Costa Rica. Our SHaPE Analytics group leverages a big-data analytics platform that includes 100 terabytes of integrated claim, encounter, clinical, consumer and other data. The team consists of 100 dedicated experts and 250 affiliated professionals with industry, advanced analytics, statistics, clinical, and software expertise, all of whom work to design, deliver, and operate advanced analytic tools to help social, public and healthcare clients around the world. The SHaPE practice is one of 10 industry practices within the firm and has a mission of measurably improving individuals' lives, livelihoods and health and creating safer and more just communities around the world. What You'll DoYou have responsibilities that will range from driving the architecture design and technology decisions for shaping the next generation products for various teams to ensuring that we stay on the leading edge of technology. You will also be responsible for leading one or multiple development teams to enable our products to be market leading solutions. By leveraging engineering frameworks and best practices, you will design and develop core data frameworks and enable software capabilities used by data engineers, data scientists, consulting teams and external clients. You will partner with product management to define technology implementation and roadmaps for one or more engineering teams, advising on the technology stack, improvements in our software development processes, and elevating the teams' health and performance. You will enable cloud technologies and build expertise in our designated cloud service providers to leverage the most appropriate technologies that will achieve our objectives. Taking into consideration current state solutions and skillsets, you will collaborate with leadership to define an incremental and achievable technology transformation of our assets. You will build broad relationships and connect directly with complex problems we solve for our clients across the globe. You will be a thought partner that communicates effectively across a broad range of stakeholder groups from engineers to business users and can connect to business and operational implications.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent area; advanced degree is a plus3+ years of leading engineering teams on the development of enterprise grade software including big data pipelines, web back end and front-end applications12+ years of Python/Java/J2EE software development experience or equivalent4+ years using big data processing technologies such as Spark, Pig, Hive, and Kafka4+ years of experience building native cloud solutions in either AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure3+ years of experience leading the definition and delivery of large-scale tec
