AECOM Deputy Team Leader- Healthcare in Cuttack, India

India - West Bengal, Cuttack

Job Summary

He/ She will support the Team Leader with a focus on implementation and operations.

He/ She will manage all design projects and ensure that the Contractor and other consultants/contractors of the Programme perform their duties and services in accordance with signed contracts and report variances.

Further, he/she will be responsible for construction management and supervision.

He/ She shall be full time associated and deployed with the Project in accordance with the terms of the signed Contracts.

He/ She will be responsible for the overall direction & management for Design, Execution and all other Construction Management works. He is responsible for all design coordination, execution of all works and lead the team of Engineers and coordinate with internal team for delivery as per required parameters of Cost, Time, Quality, Safety etc. The appointed Deputy Team Leader will establish and build professional relationships with Clients, other Consultants and Contractors and effectively manage AECOM’s client expectations.

The Deputy Team Leader will prepare and implement Project Management plans and procedures, coordinate and Interact with other disciplines within AECOM and with 3rd parties in relation to Technical, Financial, Safety, Quality, program and other elements of a project, to ensure successful design, execution and all other Construction Management works.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Construction/ Urban Planning/ Architecture with an active professional background

  • Registration as Construction Professional / Engineer / Architect with a recognized National / International board or Institute and

  • Project Management Professional or similar certification from a recognized International body or Institution is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively manage the project

  • Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationship.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
