Entry Level Healthcare Recruiter

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking an Entry Level Healthcare Recruiter that will partner with our locations in finding and securing new clinical talent to assist families in our local communities. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, Hybrid role (some remote, some in-office)

Compensation: Competitive base salary, plus quarterly incentives and reoccurring contests

You will be responsible for sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews within a designated region for Aveanna Healthcare. This includes coordinating with hiring managers to determine staff needs, finding qualified candidates to fill open positions, conducting pre-screens with candidates to determine eligibility, negotiating pay rates and working with the regional leadership team to provide qualified candidates for consideration.

Responsibilities of the Recruiter:

  • Post and update requisitions for staffing needs in areas designated by location.

  • Screen candidates for minimum qualifications as defined by state and location guidelines; work with location staff to ensure sufficient candidate flow to assigned locations.

  • Negotiate compensation with candidates based on location guidelines and reimbursement rates.

  • Cultivates relationships with candidates and hiring managers to promote growth, teamwork and credibility.

  • Achieve goals and metrics by utilizing online resources to source candidates for assigned locations.

  • Implements sourcing strategies, including monitoring and evaluating various recruitment sources to produce optimal results.

  • Assists in the on-going support of our Applicant Tracking System.

  • Encourages a positive and intercommunicative environment between locations for the optimal utilization of caregivers.

  • Supports process improvement opportunities to improve the delivery of our services to include sourcing, recruiting, job offers and onboarding of qualified candidates in compliance with employment guidelines.

  • Track and utilize data to understand sourcing trends.

  • Participates in department calls as necessary; provides input and suggestions and in additional group calls as requested.

Entry Level Healthcare Recruiter Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree a PLUS.  

  • Proficient in English, Bilingual a PLUS.  

  • Healthcare experience a PLUS.  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Word and Excel.  

  • Team player, organization skillset and ability to multitask.
