Our Opportunity: Chewy is looking for a\u0026amp;nbsp;Corporate Counsel, Healthcare to join our Legal Team based in Dania Beach, Florida. The Corporate Counsel, Healthcare position is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a fast-paced, dynamic Legal Department supporting various regulatory and compliance issues, with a focus on issues related to pharmacy operations, state and federal fraud and abuse laws, and patient privacy; complex transactional work and contracting; and any other topics needed by the business. This position will report to the Assistant General Counsel position and will use their legal skills to contribute to the operations of the business.\u0026amp;nbsp;

What you\u0026#39;ll do:

  • Research and advise on legal and compliance risks associated with online multijurisdictional pharmacy operations and the provision of healthcare services and products to pets and pet parents

  • Partner with the business to develop actionable risk mitigation strategies

  • Negotiate vendor contracts with pharmacy and healthcare product suppliers

  • Support healthcare compliance team with compliance initiatives and identifying and interpreting relevant laws

  • Conduct general research on state and federal law, including 50-state surveys

  • Review pharmacy and healthcare-related marketing, promotional, and advertising materials

  • Support customer service in researching and resolving consumer complaints

  • Identify issues and collaborate with other areas of the Legal Department

  • Provide timely and actionable counsel to all areas and levels within Chewy Healthcare

  • Collaborate with and manage external legal counsel

  • Monitor applicable legislation and advise on potential business impact

What you\u0026#39;ll need:

  • 6+ years relevant legal experience

  • Member of the Florida Bar or ability to obtain in-house license

  • Experience with online or mail-order pharmacy operations, preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a practical, business-oriented and strategic approach

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

  • Some travel required
