In this position, you will explore new frontiers, use your positive and engaging communication style to influence and motivate team members and build strong relationships within the organization and with clients. Further, you will have meaningful support from firm leadership for staffing and business development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Healthcare industry and the aptitude to expand BKD’s Healthcare Transaction Services practice.

What You Will Do:

  • Leverage new and existing relationships to identify business opportunities and grow the Healthcare Transaction Services team

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements

  • Prepare and review reports regarding due diligence and financial analysis

  • Research and analyze industry standards, trends and target companies

  • Work closely with executives, investment bankers, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys or other stakeholders

  • Lead, supervise and train team members providing transaction services to clients

  • Work alongside other BKD team members to exceed client expectations

A successful Trusted Advisor has:

  • Prior experience and expertise as a Managing Director or Partner in Healthcare Transaction Services

  • A minimum of fifteen years’ experience with a large public accounting or consulting firm with at least seven years’ experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence

  • Successful track record of building and growing a Transaction Service Practice, building/managing a client base, and managing revenue

  • Strong current knowledge in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), current audit and accounting concepts, mergers and acquisitions and transaction services

  • Extensive analytical and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate team members

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university or CPA eligible; licensed CPA is preferred

Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act:

Compensation of Base Salary Range $160,000 - $295,000 plus Incentive Pay ranging 10 – 35% of salary

Compensation for this role will be determined based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. This amount is not representative of an employee’s total compensation, which consists of, but is not limited to, salary (cash compensation), benefits, profit-sharing contributions, CPA Exam incentives and other forms of compensation.
