Overview:Our Denver based Health team is seeking a Project Manager to join the team.A primary managerial position in a specific project and shares responsibilityfor project successes. Recognized ability to impact revenue and growth.Manages the firm's resources (people, processes and tools) andassignments with proficiency, fluency and aptitude. Teaches and mentorsstaff and effectively embodies and expresses the firm's values and mission.Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities of the Project Manager include assisting PIC/PMwith the development and management of project job costs, budget andresourcing projections and collaborating with PIC/PM on project financialperformance, such as confirming invoices are paid current before issuingdocumeActs as a primary client relationship for respective project, building andstrengthening connections through a comprehensive understanding of theirproject mission, goals, policies, needs and progressManages the execution and delivery of implementation documents through allphases of a project, including post-occupancy evaluation andsharing/harvesting lessons learned and project impactCollaborates on the design process including programming client needs,conceptual and schematic design, design development, document preparationand construction administrationCoordinates project team interaction both internally and all other projectparticipantsManages the project team in collaboration with other disciplines to establishdesign solutions that can be technically implemented within the constraints ofthe project goals, budgets, available time and within local ordinances andcodesMay lead client presentations and public hearings as neededMonitors project to anticipate potential risks and collaborates with thePIC, legal team and client to resolve issuesHolds project team responsible for detailed code and zoning analysis,performance analysis and deliverables on HKS standards, best practices andquality expectationsCollaborates in project meeting management, including scheduling,determining meeting purpose, preparing agendas and meeting report andmaintaining action items log on regular basisAttends on-site visits and field reviews as necessaryActively invests in the professional development of staff through mentoring,performance management and career planningDevelops, recognizes, recruits and grows diverse talentResolves conflict effectively and encourages a healthy team environmentUnderstands fundamental accounting principles and the project accountingprocessCollaborates in and may be responsible for delivering a project on definedbudget requirementsBuilds, updates and executes project schedule assuring deliverables arecompleted on time and aligned with the budgeted labor; recalibrates asnecessarMaintains accountability to project plan and planned utilization rateUnderstands contract and recognizes additional services neededMay participate in the pursuit and marketing of potential projectsSupports PIC and may lead the business development process by identifying newopportunities, marketing current clients for repeat business and assistingwith proposals, budgets and schedulesQualifications:Accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent in education orexperienceArchitectural Registration requiredTypically 8+ years of experienceSustainable design accreditation preferredFirsthand and sustained experience in all phases of architectural design andconstructionFamiliarity in the capability and benefits of architectural and performanceanalytical software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, parametricdesign and performance analysis software preferredExperience in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Project and MicrosoftTeams preferredAdvanced knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelinesAdvanced knowledge of architectural building systems and QA/QC processAdvanced knowledge of building codes, constructability and accessibilityguidelinesExperience in logistics managementStrong presentation
