Description
Griffin Health is looking for caregivers to help administer COVID-19 vaccines at upcoming community vaccination clinics.
Ensuring everyone has quick and easy access to the COVID-19 vaccines is critical to the health and safety of ourselves, our loved ones and our community. You can play a vital role in increasing the number of people with COVID-19 immunity and bringing an end to this pandemic.
Position will require travel to client sites. Individual must be able to commit to 40 hours a week.
Administration of COVID-19 vaccines
Answering patients’ questions and concerns regarding COVID-19 including symptoms, testing and vaccines
Confirming patient’s eligibility for vaccination per guidelines
Administer COVID-19 vaccine and provide vaccination card to patient
Complete documentation of vaccine administration as directed
Qualifications:
Practitioners include the following healthcare professionals:
LPNs
pharmacist
podiatrists, veterinarians, dentists, and paramedics ( if complete a vaccination training program approved by DPH)
dental hygienists (provided the dental hygienist has training to administer anesthesia and if they complete a vaccination training program approved by DPH )
advanced emergency medical technicians, and emergency medical technicians (provided they have previously completed the DPH-approved intramuscular epinephrine administration training and if they complete a vaccination training program approved by DPH )
