Currently seeking aiPart-Time Occupational Therapistifor Skilled Nursing Facility iniDinuba, CA!Therapy Specialists has a Part-Time opportunity open for an experienced Occupational Therapist at Dinuba Healthcare located just south of Fresno and North of Visalia in Dinuba, CA. Dinuba Healthcare is a free standing 98-bed Skilled Nursing facility that provides a caring environment for short-term and long-term patients.This is a great opportunity for a OT to join a collaborative multi-disciplinary group of therapists that are passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and return to life's activities that are most meaningful to them!Position Requirements:An active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in California.A minimum of 1 year of recent Skilled Nursing experience is preferred, but New Graduates with applicable clinical experience are welcome to apply.Additional experience working in Home Health is desired, as there may be opportunity for Home Health visits after discharge.Memory Care experience is preferred.Casamba EMR experience is preferred.Ability to treat the following diagnoses: joint replacements, traumatic, general deconditioning, musculoskeletal injuries, stroke, neurologic issues, cardiovascular issues, cognitive issues and medically complex patients, etc.Strong communication skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently, and ability to multi-task.Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule for up to 8 hours per day and one weekend day per month. A Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday schedule will be considered.Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Screening, evaluating, and providing treatment to patients in Skilled Nursing.Providing staff in-services and caregiver/family training, as needed.Following up and communicating well with other disciplines, nursing, and facility staff as required.Completing thorough documentation in multiple EMR systems and managing paperwork efficiently with independence.Supervising COTAs and effectively communicating with the interdisciplinary team regarding goals and outcomes based on plan of care.Providing excellent customer service and patient care.Supporting growth of Occupational Therapy services and other disciplines on the campus by advocating for all Rehab Services.Why Therapy Specialists?Founded in 1976 by Susan J.
