Perficient, Inc. Healthcare Business Development Executive - Mid-Atlanta to Florida in District of Columbia, Virginia

Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Business Development Executive to sell within our Healthcare Practice covering the Mid-Atlantic down to Florida. The Business Development Executive is a full portfolio seller, who focuses on a targeted list of Enterprise and Strategic clients in the Healthcare Industry. Experience selling on the payer side or a blend of selling payer & provider consulting services is required.

  • Applies and leverages Perficient Sales Processes, Solution Selling and Account Management practices.

  • Responsible for generating sales in excess of $5+M per year of IT consulting services.

  • Candidate should possess a strong suite of local client relationships (Fortune 500, CIOs, Senior Information Systems Executives, and Senior Business Executives) as well as industry relationships (software vendors, integrators).

  • Has a “hunter” mentality – successfully executes strategies to open new accounts – requires strong virtual meeting skills.

  • Leads and manages sales opportunities from lead generation, qualification, sales strategy development and execution, deal reviews, through negotiations and winning deals.

  • Ability to build and maintain long term client relationships in order to grow current client accounts. 3+ years Account Management Experience.

  • Years of Experience: 5-10+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients.

  • Extensive enterprise level experience into healthcare organizations

  • Experience selling payer or a blend of payer & provider consulting services required.

  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling.

  • Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
