Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Marketing Communications Coordinator will play an essential role on Genoa Healthcare's marketing and communications team, contributing to marketing communication projects including advertising, print materials, brand awareness, media relations, social media, web and events. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Qualified candidates will have solid foundation in marketing communications concepts and practices. They will be ready to hit the ground running writing content and developing marketing materials, assisting with marketing campaigns and supporting media relations efforts and events. They will have a client service focus and be able to act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and vendors. They will be team players who are able to take direction and also work independently.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Write and design marketingmaterials for print and web, including brochures and newsletters.

  • Assist in planning and executingmarketing campaigns and events.

  • Coordinate with internalstakeholders and partner organizations to provide appropriate marketingcommunications support.

  • Draft public relations materials,including media alerts and pitches, and web and social media content.

  • Partner with digital marketingleader to draft and implement digital strategies and materials.

  • Stay up to date on the latestmarketing communications trends and brings new and innovative ideasforward.

  • Assist in maintaining a positivebrand image and reputation for the organization.

  • Track, measure,and analyze all initiatives to report on ROI.

Educational or Skills Requirements:

  • BA in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Graphic Design orrelated field

  • Someentry-level experience in Marketing, Communications or both

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple deadlines infast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and within ateam

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Design experience/skills; Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign

  • Health care industry experience/knowledge a plus
