REPORTS TO: Regional Healthcare Director, Continuing Education Division

General Description:

To assist Bryant & Stratton College Continuing Education Division (CE) Regional Healthcare Director in the day-to-day operations in support of the CE’s Healthcare training programs’ sales goals and objectives. Ensure accurate collection of sales data, student and client registration and retention. Inside healthcare sales responsibilities along with operational administrative efforts. Extensive telephone, face to face and computer work responsibilities. (Note: While preferred, this position does not require the candidate possess a background or experience in the healthcare field.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales/Operations

  • Maintain work flow/activity as part of an established sales/revenue budget plan., Call on, follow-up and interview student prospects. Collect and process payments Assist with payment options Make reminder calls to those that have payments due. Register, help retain and coach students through their courses of study. Maintenance of lead calls and lead appointment records, along with corporate client records. Assist in CE marketing events and projects to promote training programs.

Administrative

  • Confirmation calls to enrolled students. Prepare and send student and class confirmation letters for funding agency programs approval. Student, class and corporate clients’ data entry and sales figures into contact management software (CRM Siebel/Banner). Prepare completion certificates, class rosters, post assessments, etc. Order student textbooks and online resources through the College’s Online Bookstore and publishers. Maintain client and student file folders.

  • Assist instructional staff in preparing hand-outs, classroom-based materials and PowerPoint presentations. Prepare instructional payroll contracts. Maintain student enrollment and pass/fail certification spreadsheets and log sheets. Maintenance and design of program flyers, brochures, bulletin boards and TV monitors. Prepare e-blasts, fax blasts, filing, faxing, scanning, etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree or higher required

  • Minimum 3 years’ sales and/or customer service experience required

  • Minimum 3 years’ previous administrative experience required

  • Telephone and networking experience

  • Supervisory and/or management experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and type 50+ wpm

  • Ability to work independently and oversee a busy office environment

  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and problem solving skills

  • Critical thinker

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load

  • Ability to interact well with students, staff, and faculty
