KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Customer & Operations for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.
Manage day to day execution of large scale organizational, process, and technology transformation client engagements; ensure high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Foster relationships with both internal and client personnel at appropriate levels
Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds; foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment; play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization
Demonstrate deep operational and technical capabilities and professional knowledge; possess in depth business acumen
Think and act entrepreneurially to lead the growth and development of the Healthcare Supply Chain practice
Minimum seven years of recent related work experience; minimum five years of advisory/consulting experience in the supply chain and other operational areas that impact the supply chain function (e.g. supply chain strategy, distribution/logistics, inventory management, procurement and sourcing, lean six sigma, operations, cost reduction, etc.), preferably with prior experience in consulting or in a senior management role within industry
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Strong healthcare industry and/or healthcare supply chain industry background which may include clinical, pharmacy, materials management and/or purchased services experience within supply chain operations in hospitals; understanding of healthcare supply chain technology including procurement and materials management platforms, electronic data interchange (EDI) and point of use (POU) technology; experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle or Lawson is preferred
Demonstrated experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support; demonstrated record of driving revenue within existing healthcare clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of large healthcare organizations
Travel as needed
