Sodexo Senior Director, Commercial Operations - Healthcare in Houston, Texas

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Director GPO & Healthcare Operations professional to providestrategic leadership in both the Field Sales & Marketing teams. You will have a deep understanding of what it takes to win in market and acting as the decision maker within the organization. The role is responsible for developing the strategic plan to drive sustained and continuous growth for the Segment area of responsibility. This role owns areas of high complexity and significant business impact, which may require understanding multiple offers and/or customers via sub-segmentation. This role must build and demonstrate strategic and organizational agility, plus effective negotiation bringing data, insights, and strong interpersonal skills to influence a wide range of decisions in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Director oversees the execution of each account plan to ensure sales exectuves are driving and selling product portfolios along with other commercial initiatives.

The Senior Director GPO & Healthcare Operations also drives, develops, tracks, measures, and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and programs, while refining processes and collecting and evaluating sales information to maximize sales force productivity.The position will be client facing when piloting new Sodexo growth initiatives as the will have a deep broad knowledge of business.

In this role you will lead Healthcare commercial operations and to oversee integration and ensures connectivity with those teams (e.g., sales, marketing, service operations, business operations etc.) that have shared goals and objectives.

The position also executes on department goals and initiatives. The Senior Director GPO & Healthcare Operations delivers key insights and recommendations that optimize the performance of the marketing and sales departments, marketing programs/campaigns and supporting a sustainable infrastructure in which sales can grow and meet or exceed sales target. This position leverages key insights to help identify future fiscal year sales targets. Program and processes developed by the Senior Director and team are frequently used by regions globally and impacts global healthcare strategy. In addition, they will be expected to take on visible leadership responsibilities within the team and for project work that crosses multiple customers, segments and/or internal functions.

This position leads a shared center of excellence reporting to both the SVP, Head of Marketing - Healthcare and the SVP, Head of Sales.

The position manages a team of a CRM Administrator, Business Development Analyst, Senior Project Manager and Senior Manager, Project Implementation.

This is a virtual position you may reside anywhere in the US.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 10 years

Basic Functional Experience - 10 years in in commercial operations, marketing technology, project management or other related activities.
