This position is for an IT Healthcare Operations - Director with a company located in Jackson, MS. Summary: Provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the business partner relationships process on behalf of information systems (is) in support of the Company healthcare business goals and objectives. Responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of resources and technologies to lead the healthcare objectives of the system; focused on optimization of the healthcare systems and institutional relationships; understanding client needs and translating those needs into workflow and technology decisions. Responsible for establishing current and long-range strategy aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Interface with prospective epic community connect partners/health systems for implementation of any necessary system enhancements. Where possible, replicate best practices from the Company across the community connect partner landscape. Collaboratively prepares strategic and operational information systems plans to effectively deliver technology solutions in a manner that is cost effective and in alignment with healthcare business and future goals. Develops positive relationships with facility leadership team, facility department directors and managers, and other division leaders as dictated by the business organizational structure. Represents DIS on appropriate business committees. Leads, oversees, and participates in the planning, development and implementation of future technology enhancements. Directs the continuing maintenance, review, implementation and upgrade of existing technology. Oversees major and complex implementation and development projects with accountability for resources and outcomes. Identifies process improvement opportunities and challenges and communicates them to appropriate is leaders for planning and action. Participates in facility process improvement initiatives. Requirements and Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field and ten (10) years of related experience to include three years of experience at the director level or above.
