Location/Division Specific Information
This position will be remotely based in the United States. The candidate will support our customer base on the West Coast.
How will you make an impact?
The eSolutions Specialist works in partnership with clients to overcome their business challenges through the application of technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial aptitude and the ability to proactively engage our customers, through a consultative selling process, to onboard them in to one or more of our digital solutions. The work will require an understanding of business process and the dynamics of interacting through both our B2B and B2C solutions. Two critical components of the program are to position Fisher as the industry leader for providing technology based business solutions and to promote e-Commerce within the client base as a means of improving the Fisher P/L.
What will you do?
Develops a customer segment specific strategy to drive proactive demand. Maintain a detailed plan that outlines activities and goals in line with the total eBusiness strategy.
Clarifies a client's system specifications, understands their work practices, and the nature of their business in order to optimally recommend the most appropriate solution to their need.
Supports the sales organization in developing their understanding of Fisher's Digital Commerce capabilities and Business Solutions to facilitate their ability to promote these services.
Meets with all levels of clients (including c-level executives) to define requirements and facilitate communication of technical specifications.
Liaises with customers and internal salesforce to communicate ongoing requirements and market trends in e-Business.
Analyzes problems, makes recommendations, develops agreed upon solutions, presents and implements solutions.
How will you get here? Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, consulting, or digital sales.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Requires proven consultative selling and project management skills.
Knowledge of functional procurement processes and technical e-Procurement processes.
Strong communications (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills required.
