Global Service Resources is looking for an on-call Rad Tech for 6 LA County Public Health clinics.

*Candidate must have a flexible schedule.*

Pay Rate: $32-$37/hr

As an LA County On-Call Rad Tech, you would be expected to work anywhere between 2 to 5 days a week any time between 8AM to 4:30PM. You will work a minimum of 4 to 8 hours a day if called. You would go to 1 location per day.

Some Duties Include:* Performs digital radiographic procedures limited to the scope of practice (chest, extremities and torso-skeletal). Skull preferred but not required* Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.

  • Secures patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.* Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about follow- up appointments.* Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications.

Requirements:

  • Over 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech.

-Must be certified.

  • ARRT License

  • Fluoroscopy License

-BLS from American Heart Association

-Must be able to pass background check.

Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test and Fit Test done already- if not, you must update them on your own. Our registry will cover the drug and background check.

Once interviewed, the on-boarding process may take 2 to 4 weeks. Rigorous Hiring and on-boarding process. Must complete Skills Check List.

References will be requested. Copies of personal documents will be required in order to be submitted.
