Advocates for the rights of all people receiving services throughout the Agency by: conducting investigations of situations which may violate a person’s rights and/or protections of people receiving services,
Constructive Partnerships Unlimited is currently seeking a Special Investigator to work as needed to conduct investigations and provide reports so as to advocate for the rights of people receiving services.

Specific duties include:
Conducts investigations into situations which may violate the rights and/or protection of people receiving services. These situations include but are not limited to: Reportable Abuse/Neglect, Reportable Significant, Serious Notable Occurrence, and/or 624/625 situations.
Identifies areas of concern during the course of an investigation needing additional follow-up and/or additional reporting.
Provides investigative updates as needed for administrative action.
Prepares investigative reports and forwards completed reports to the Administrator of Investigations and/or Administrator of Incident Management within required timeframes.
Completes investigations and IRC Sub-Committee corrections and follow-up within mandated timeframes.
Minimum BA/BS in related Human Services Field or licensure in medically related field required.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in conducting investigations required.
Completed the approved Justice Center investigative training course or prepared to complete the training course upon hire.
Experience training in the identification, prevention and reporting of abuse and investigative techniques.
Experience working with the Justice Center and OPWDD programs preferred.
Able to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes at any given time.
Must have flexible hours and ability to work remotely and on site as needed.
