Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. The safety and well-being of our people continues to be the top priority, and our decisions around travel are informed by government COVID-19 response directives, recommendations from leading health authorities, and guidance from a number of infectious disease experts. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Director in CIO Advisory for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements and be responsible for the quality and on-time creation of project deliverables in the Healthcare Lifesciences market

  • Identify and communicate engagement findings to client management

  • Direct business and market development efforts including identifying opportunities, developing relationships, scoping prospective engagements, and developing proposals

  • Assist with developing or updating firm methodologies regarding infrastructure operations

  • Present thought leadership at internal training classes, external events, and client environments and work across KPMG service lines to identify teaming opportunities

  • Lead and provide performance management for staff

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten years of consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy or Big 4 firm, with a focus on the healthcare or life sciences industry

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Deep industry knowledge and experience in consulting for healthcare or life sciences, including payer provider, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and experience leading consulting teams in this sector

  • Proven experience of articulating and advising on strategic issues in the healthcare life sciences industry and experience in the following strategy consulting areas: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience

  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and a strong business development track record; experience leading client delivery teams and solid project management skills,

  • Ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated knowledge of IT operations, systems, architecture, technical controls, data-centric issues, and considerations

  • Travel as needed
