Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consultant Overview of Position The focus of this job is to support the sales process by assessing a prospect's current revenue cycle operations, analyzing performance data, and determining improvement potential and ROI through Change Healthcare solutions. The candidate will be knowledgeable in end-to-end revenue cycle staffing and services offerings to include patient call centers, revenue cycle staffing advocacy, and outsourced revenue cycle services. This is a remote/telecommuter position. All candidates must live close to a major metropolitan airport and be willing to do 60% overnight travel post COVID restrictions. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Create and manage a data management and analysis process to intake, store, and analyze multiple different datasets from prospective clients Conduct strategic assessments, combining data analysis with operational interviews/observations of prospect staff to understand baseline revenue cycle performance Create benefit estimates and financial models based on the injection of the most appropriate CHC services and technology into current state operations Develop and maintain, as needed, knowledge and resources for above methodologies, client facing presentation, ROI calculator materials and regular internal education for advancing the skillset and effectiveness of the Executive Directors, internal prospecting staff (Marketing Development Team), product campaign cadence and policy/procedure information for effective internal deal pursuit Support RFP's, Large/Multi-product deals, cross departmental collaboration to achieve objectives Maintain industry and product knowledge, adapting to changes in the market/competition, participation in regional/national meetings/forums, and driving brand/deliverable awareness within territory What are the requirements needed for this position? 5+ years new account healthcare sales, enterprise account management, consulting or operations experience within Acute and Employed Provider outsourcing market encompassing hospital/physician platform knowledge, extended business office functions, call center environments and revenue cycle Mastery of revenue cycle functions (front to back end), productivity standards, workflows, and metrics Demonstrated ability to understand revenue cycle root cause linkage of people/process/technology issues, impact those issues have on core performance metrics, and create mitigation strategies Experience with change management and the implementation of technology or process improvements in healthcare revenue cycle management Experience with Government (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare), commercial and self - pay payers Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and Salesforce.com CRM solutions Ability to condense large amounts of data into succinct, executive level presentations Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of patient claims and operational data (SQL or similar) What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
