The Global Healthcare Practice is seeking a Risk and Compliance Senior Manager to join our growing team.

Senior Managers partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide best in class advice and solutions. Senior Managers have a solid understanding of their client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry. Senior Managers can clearly articulate the value drivers of our business, and are responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients. Senior Managers are responsible for job economics and for ensuring seamless project management. Senior Managers are developing future contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
A solid foundation in risk and compliance processes and objectives.
A basic understanding of healthcare provider regulations and requirements (e.g., HIPAA, False Claims Act, Conflicts of Interest, etc.).
Comprehension of core business processes related to hospitals, academic medica l center, physician practices, and/or other provider types.
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and developing key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries.
Ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across the healthcare provider sector.
Strong p roject management and reporting capabilities.
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to network and support existing client relationships.
Experience conducting medical record reviews and experience in auditing hospital and/or physician clinical documentation and billing .
Knowledge of provider clinical documentation, coding and billing processes and associated governmental rules and regulations.
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Nursing, Healthcare Administration , Accounting , Finance or Other Related Field). Associates degree in medical coding is also preferred .
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with inpatient coding experience in ICD-10 environment and/or certified Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (CDS) required.
Registered Health Information Administrator ( RHIA ) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
6 + years working in provider healthcare compliance environment, preferably a hospital , health system , or for a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). The position is focused on supporting Compliance and Revenue Cycle functions in conducting clinical documentation and coding audits, including reviews of medical records in a wide variety of environments and sepcialities required .
Knowledge of medical coding requirements and provider reimbursement structures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
