CDW LLC Mgr. Business Development - Healthcare - Senior Care Strategist in New York, New York

This business development role will be responsible to provide key senior care and post acute market insights to the CDW's healthcare division as well as lead customer facing activities that will guide senior care providers in making the most appropriate technology choices. This role will provide the voice of the resident/patient into the healthcare organization and ensure that our healthcare sales team understands and effectively communicates the benefits, challenges, and impact of technology in the senior care setting. From a national perspective, this role works with the sales management team to keep CDW Healthcare on the forefront of senior care solutions that deliver true ROI for our customers. Working with the leading vendor-neutral technical team in the industry, the role will serve as a critical educational expert voice for CDW-including sitting on key industry boards, presenting at conferences and integrating Professional Development and the support of senior care or horizontal offerings that complement the technology and move our customers down the road of more rampant technology adoption.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Driving strategic Go to Market plan for senior care and post acute care customer and solution engagement.

Managing/coaching senior care strategists to mirror and support greater senior care GTM strategy.

Growing revenue and profit for senior care business practice.

Developing innovative solutions to drive thought leadership inside the senior care industry.

Maintain and continue to develop partner ecosystem for senior care.

Providing a resident/patient's expertise to customers and internal teams to ensure effective

implementation of CDW Healthcare solutions and maximization of long-term return on investment in technology.

Demonstrate complete ownership of product and service initiatives and outcomes provided by CDW Healthcare and our partners, including setting the vision and educational goals for the initiatives, supporting the development of content and ensuring successful roll out and implementation of new offerings.

Establishing, growing and maintaining partnerships with large LTC/senior care facilities and other alliances to support the organization's goals.

Create feedback systems to gather input from technology leaders and owner/operators of LTC facilities and senior care communities, ensuring that this information is being used to drive solution updates and improvements.

Ensure CDW Healthcare incorporates client and end-user feedback to continuously improve our offerings, services especially on professional learning experiences.

Have both reputation and capability to lead professional development sessions and workshops with technology leaders, owner/operators, and other market leaders and facilitate conversations about how best to integrate CDW Healthcare solutions into a wide variety of LTC/senior care models.

Capable of validating importance of instructional knowledge in the development of CDW Healthcare sellers and providing mentoring & assistance in this area to others on the team.

Continue training new CDW sellers and sales teams on senior care trends and solutions

Mentor CDW Healthcare sellers on LTC/senior care messaging to their customers.

Professionally represent CDW Healthcare by attending and presenting at conferences and events.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

5+ years of senior care professional roles & or relevant experience

Deep understanding of senior care policy environment including knowledge of the funding, investments, and use of information technology

Knowledge of the current publications, events, and organizations relevant to the senior care / senior living market

Credibility with the senior care / senior living landscape as demonstrated through professional networks and understanding of the sector

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including in the use of data analysis

Demonstrated capability of developing and implementing training programs

Strategic Planning capabilities

Extensive presentation experience

Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

Adult training experience

Ability to model effective instruction for large classes and small groups

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Passion for education and ongoing personal learning

Extensive use of technology in the long term care & senior living market

Must have strong interpersonal skills

Strong written, verbal, presentation communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, executives, other CDW departments, customers and vendor partners

Adaptable, ability to lead through change

Ability to utilize strategic thinking to fulfill long-term company goals

Excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills

Ability to share in-depth knowledge of CDW capabilities with customers

Strong internal and external customer acumen, working with each customer at the highest levels of ethics and integrity

Must be able to travel to customer meetings, events and/or other CDW locations
