Our New England/New York Metro Healthcare Practice is seeking a Project Management/Construction Management experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager who will act an Owners Representative for our Clients. Our Clients are unique in that they will look to you as their representative and take and be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope and safety of the team. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our team achieve the Client’s objectives.

You’ll report directly to the Regional Leadership and work alongside other Client managers and stakeholders. We’ll look to you to provide sound guidance and hold accountability in working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary approach with Client, Architect/Engineers, Regulatory, General Contractor, and FFE vendors/contractors for the overall project delivery, including management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.  You’ll also manage and provide construction oversight and facilitate resolution to complex construction project related issues, disputes and disagreements.

To be most successful in this role you’ll need to lean on your experience with Ground-Up projects as well as existing hospital renovations. Our clients often come to us with a mix of ground-up within or around operational hospitals and will look to you for sound guidance and support.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelors’ of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture or related

  • Experience as a Project Manager overseeing medium to large programs in excess of $50 - $150 million

  • Prior Ground-Up Healthcare Buildings experience in new construction to renovation in operating hospitals

  • Advanced working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: * *

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification

  • Travel to client site
