Description

OneEQ seeks an experienced, well rounded and collaborative Project Manager who can thrive in a highly technical and challenging environment. This position is available to work and connect with any of our US offices. The qualified candidate will demonstrate a strong proficiency within the AEC, Healthcare and IT/Low Voltage industries to deliver elegant solutions and methodologies for complex projects and world-leading clients as part of a high performance team setting.

Responsibilities

Engages with and successfully guides clients, partner teams, subconsultants and team members on large, complex, multi-phased and multi-year acute healthcare projects

Works with internal and external teams to develop project pursuit scope and initial resource allocation

Coordinates pursuit efforts with other internal partners and sectors

Negotiates contracts with clients with support of General Counsel

Works with clients to determine and document project scope, budget and schedule

Provides and documents technical analysis of healthcare systems as needed to help drive project towards well-engineered solutions

Leads, schedules and documents meetings including preparing agendas and meeting minutes

Develops and maintains master project plans including budgets and schedules

Coordinates project team's workload through entire project

Assigns and assists project team members to tackle project tasks, action items and deliverable production

Ensures completion of project deliverables on budget and on schedule

Ensures documentation is distributed and filed to maintain accurate records

Assists in the selection and oversight of consultants and construction teams as necessary

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with clients to support business development efforts

Leads the QA/QC effort for project documentation by reviewing, delegating and assisting project team in technical analysis and document quality assurance measures taken

Coordinates work of internal and external multidiscipline teams throughout an entire project's development

Participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance

Conducts schematic, design development and contract document work sessions virtually and at project site in conjunction with all disciplines

Prepares and conducts internal and external project reviews as needed at key project milestones

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent related work experience

10+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing projects in excess of $250k in technology consulting fees

5+ years of Healthcare Buildings experience

Familiarity with California OSHPD, or other seismic zone design and construction

Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building

Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification, or PMP preferred

Practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as IBC/CBC, AIA FDG, BICSI, AVIXA, ASIS, HIMSS, ASHE, and others

Meet on-site and virtually with client, project teams, internal and external partners as needed

BICSI-RCDD, AVIXA CTS-D, ASIS CPP/PSP, CPHIMSS, or other related industry license or certification preferred
