Specialist - Healthcare Private Equity
Bachelor's or masters degree
3-5 years of experience in consulting or private equity
Previous private equity, investment banking or consulting experience; healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and working across multiple groups and stakeholders
Highly analytical with knowledge of business growth strategy; extensive financial modeling skills and experience in Excel
Comfortable operating without a roadmap to achieve results and objectives
Adept at managing key stakeholders (client & internal) and able to drive initiatives
Passion for developing strong client relationships and partnering with various teams throughout the Firm
Entrepreneurial and collaborative nature
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; clear and concise writing skills
Comfortable traveling 50%
Who You'll Work With
You'll work with our Healthcare practice and will be based in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Silicon Valley or Washington DC office.
Our Healthcare practice is home to 500+ colleagues in North America consisting of consultants, deep content and technical experts, technologists, and operational leaders. We come together, often as blended teams to improve healthcare. Our Healthcare practice serves North American payors, providers and services companies and works with both public sector and private sector healthcare organizations.
Our practice is organized around domains which house intellectual property and expert practitioners, centers of excellence, and tribes (cross-functional special teams working to bring a distinctive approach to our clients in practice priority areas like digital and analytics).
You will be working with the Private Equity, Healthcare Services & Technology and Pre-Post Acute (PPA) domains, an interdisciplinary team providing insights into the current and future healthcare landscape to clients across the healthcare ecosystem.
What You'll Do
You will be front and center for the client conversations that are part of the firm's healthcare landscape.
In this role, you will be interacting with leadership across the Healthcare Systems and Services (HSS) practice and will gain broad exposure spanning from payors to providers as well as exposure to PE portfolio companies within the space.
You will be an integral part of Client Service Teams (CST) serving private equity clients in healthcare with focus on Healthcare Services & Technology (HST) & pre- post acute domains.
You will work on client due diligences to help investors make decisions on assets by analyzing & fleshing out the investment thesis including extensive financial modeling including sensitivity analysis, assess & determine market, growth, evaluate competitive landscape and forecast future state of asset & market.
You will with client portfolio companies / investments on strategic and operational topics to enable growth & transformation to ensure value creation and accretion.
You will work to mobilize content, create materials and develop perspectives on specific contextual topics with practice leadership and aid in building the knowledge of the domain.
