Cisco VSS Industry Virtual Specialist, Education and Healthcare in Oeiras, Portugal

What You'll Do

You will generate new pipeline, both through internal to account team engagement to expand opportunities, and build direct relationships with customers to create new opportunities, partnering with Lead Development reps. You will work closely with and utilize the selected channel partners to close new sales opportunities within the Education and Healthcare veritcal. You will handle all aspects of sales while using cutting-edge technologies to remotely collaborate with customers and employ new sales models (cloud, services & software) to help customers maximizing their revenue.

You will evangelize the Cisco's portfolio to your customers in Education and Healthcare to help make their businesses run smarter and safer *

You will be immersed in our Education and healthcare-specific offerings and serve as an SME in this vertical among your peers *

You will drive LOB conversations to advance opportunities, including demos where applicable *

You will participate and drive use cases focused on Education

You will manage your opportunities according to the overall sales stages, including activities, tagging and overall pipeline management *

You will accurately forecast your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams; driving growth *

You'll be responsible for driving new business as well as fostering your account base

Who You Are

You have 3+ years' B2B selling experience in the Education industry

You have sold or can speak knowledgeably about Education industry use cases and how Cisco's portfolio of solutions and services can support your customers *

You are a student of the respective architecture and can speak to market trends *

You have a broad understanding of the competitive landscape *

You've got experience owning the full sales cycle (prospecting, customer demos, negotiating and closing the sale). *

You are able to demonstrate strong sales achievement ie. consistent achievement at or above quota, or a history YoY growth in your target market.

You have phenomenal communication/presentation skills. *

You are a flexible and resilient problem solver, our strongest teammates have a sense of urgency to resolve issues. *

You thrive in a team environment and enjoy sharing ideas and best practices. *

You have excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
