AECOM Cost Management Director - Healthcare in Oxford, United Kingdom

Job Summary

  • Serves as senior advisor on projects of large scope and complexity and is recognized as industry leader in the field.

  • Provides technical support and may have considerable interaction with clients.

  • This is primarily an advisory, not supervisory, position, but may have a small number of direct reports.

  • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.

  • Works as an integral part of the site construction team at the project as delineated by the applicable company project execution plans and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent Health Sector experience and knowledge

  • Extensive Cost Management experience of construction projects.

  • Experience at a leadership level in a comparative business.

  • Experience of managing, leading & growing teams.

  • Demonstrable track record of winning new work from new clients & repeat work from existing clients.

  • Extensive experience of successfully delivering complex projects.

  • Demonstrable track record of winning new work from new clients & repeat work from existing clients

  • Demonstrable strong client relationships & network of contacts

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

  • Excellent industry network and reputation.

  • A passion for first class service delivery, implementing best practice and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to win work from new and existing clients through strong business development skills.

  • A desire to motivate, manage and grow teams.

  • Relevant professional qualification (F/MRICS, MAPM etc)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a leadership level in a comparative business;

  • Extensive experience acting in a leadership capacity

  • Track record of managing teams

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;

  • Highly motivated and with excellent industry network;

  • Possess the ability to work across service lines (a track record of cross selling would be useful)
