JPMorgan Chase Healthcare Payer Enrollment/EDI Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

JOB SUMMARY: The Healthcare Payer Enrollment Analyst is part of InstaMed's Professional Services EDI Team, helping to deliver high-quality services to our new and existing customers. InstaMed is looking for independent, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented candidates who want to excel and learn in an open, professional, team-oriented environment. Individuals in this position will have the opportunity to directly impact business processes, product development and revenue.

The Professional Services HealthCare Payer Enrollment Analyst will be responsible for enrolling customers with healthcare payers to provide the customer the ability to submit and receive healthcare EDI transactions to/from the payers. Attention to detail, disciplined follow-up procedures, and initiative are the keys to success. The Enrollment Analyst will need to understand InstaMed's standard operating procedures so that they can effectively and consistently resolve complex/exception enrollments and/or tasks. They will assist and interact with Sales Operations, Professional Services and Customer Service to fulfill status requests on enrollments or resolve enrollment issues. They will need to take initiative in identifying, assessing, and resolving complex issues and/or problems. They will also be responsible for escalating issues when faced with complex problems.

Essential Functions:

  • Correspond and follow up with Payers and Trading Partners to obtain approval for EDI enrollments

  • Track and update EDI enrollment status in SalesForce

  • Create or update Payer enrollment forms and coversheets

  • Submit Payer enrollment forms to Payers or Trading Partners

  • Continuously assess and mitigate risks following consistent best practices

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve EDI enrollment issues

  • Effectively and professionally communicate root cause and resolution of customer issues

  • Understand and follow all applicable HIPAA guidelines

  • Maintain strong working relationships with personnel in Professional Services, Customer Service, Technical Operations, Account Management, and Product Management

  • Any other duties as applicable to the position


  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Professional

  • Experience with Sales Force preferred

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and procedures is preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Able to prioritize work and meet delivery timelines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred / Associate degree with relevant experience

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
