Kforce Senior IT Healthcare Program Manager in Plantation, Florida

Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior IT Healthcare Program Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for defining program requirements, overseeing scope creation, and obtaining scope approval and overseeing development of project and resource plans and cost estimates across all programs within EPMO * Works with various IT and business teams to implement and plan cutover activities, determine dependencies, handle issues and understand/manage risks * Identifies key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors * Manages program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinates and delegates cross-project initiatives * Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within department * Drives review of project proposals or plan; Determines timeframe and procedures for accomplishing programs on time and within budget * Understands technical scope and objectives of the program and ensures project teams' commitment to the program delivery roadmap * Executes established work plan for each project under the program roadmap in accordance with EPMO project governance framework * Drives execution of project plans and teamwork assignments, directs and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifies resource needs, performs quality review and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately to ensure issue resolution * Prepares relevant status reports for project managers/clients. Adheres to EPMO standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation * Drives communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact scope, budget, risk, and resources of the various projects under the program * Drives the business process change activities to ensure successful project and program implementation and ensure executives are aware of the progress as needed * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is preferred * 10 years of experience in IT project management, requirements definition and/or deployment of business requirements to information systems * Prior experience in leading IT project management initiatives related to the development of the department * Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and managing customer relationships * Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques * Knowledge of how to leverage business applications for competitive advantage * Knowledge of current technologies * Knowledge of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Strong conceptual and creative skills * Solid project management skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment * Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels of management * Ability to blend creativity, problem solving and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new approaches Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: * Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
