Minnesota Oncology has an exciting opportunity for a Experienced Healthcare Receptionist/Scheduler Plymouth Clinic Minnesota Oncology offers its employees an exciting, fast-paced, and challenging work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with Front Desk - - Greet and welcome all guests and patients as they enter the clinic - Check-in patients - Collect copays - Obtain insurance information - Ensure that all appropriate forms are completed prior to seeing the provider and provide instruction as needed - Answer incoming calls - Maintain the lobby - Process incoming mail and faxes - Act as a liaison between check-in and clinical staff to promote smooth and efficient flow throughout the clinic - Other duties as requested and assigned Assist with Scheduling - - On-site Scheduling for both internal and external appointments for patients - Documenting and Communicating all details of each appointment with the patient - Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff - Manage the scheduling queue - Answer incoming scheduling calls - Other duties as requested and assigned Additional Attributes: - Ability to Multi-task - Can Successfully Prioritize Tasks - Strong Organizational Skills - Ability to work Independently and Collaboratively - Self-Starter - Versatility - Strong Customer Service Skills - Detail-Oriented Requirements: - High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required - 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical office setting - Proficient use with an EMR (electronic medical record) system and electronic scheduling system is desired Category: Administrative The US Oncology Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
