Responsibilities
As a Network Strategy & Physician Solutions Managing Consultant, you will have the opportunity to manage projects, overseeing multiple workstreams across medical groups, CINs/ACOs, and innovative primary care practices to acheive growth objectives and operational improvement as a stand-alone medical group or in connection with health systems. You will partner with project leadership on client deliverable development, ensuring workstreams are completed on time and on budget.
Managing Consultants own client engagements from cultivation to completion. In this role, you will be accountable for the activities of the project team and support the day-to-day management of the client relationship. You are expected to effectively develop and manage work strategy deliverable in provider plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets for multiple complex projects simultaneously. Work products are expected to be high-quality and client-ready strategic plans for health systems and providers. In this visible role, you will lead team meetings, and guide, manage, and coach consultants and senior consultants, providing constructive feedback on project participation and overall career development. Managing Consultants work closely with Directors and Managing Directors to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments. Managing Consultants support sales initiatives and practice development.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, health policy and/or administration required
5+ years of previous work experience in a healthcare consulting firm or a combination of healthcare industry and consulting experience
Experience in strategic planning, service line strategy, and/or health system partnerships
Provider-side experience in a health system, hospital and/or medical group strategy and advisement
Solid background in broad-based provider complex business modeling, medical group/health system strategy and financial modeling
Project and/or program management experience. Capacity to manage multiple work streams, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a disciplined, structured manner
The ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent quantitative analysis skills
Demonstrated excellence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as the ability to conduct research
Track record of efficiency, flexibility, creative problem-solving, self-motivated, analytical and highly-organized
Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within team structures
Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement toward promoting Navigant’s growing healthcare practice
