Responsibilities

You'll work as part of a team of healthcare technology and industry experts helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant with prior Healthcare Information Technology Operations consulting experience or a blend of relevant healthcare industry and consulting experience. This digital or IT consultant should be passionate and capable understanding the healthcare payer and provider market, have a deep understanding of digital technology, and be familiar with technology implementation. The successful candidate will be able to perform secondary and primary research, develop and execute on analytics models, and be adept at developing polished deliverables for clients.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a digital healthcare expert on projects involving IT and digital functionality at health systems and payers

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of digital strategy engagements for provider clients including peer benchmarking, spend analysis and related recommendations on opportunities, overall IT organization structure and operating model review, and identification of emerging trends and opportunities

  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at healthcare clients

  • Deliver polished deliverables and oversee the process from start to finish

  • Build analytics and basic financial model frameworks for digital health assets

  • Mentor junior level team members and provide performance management for staff working on assigned engagements

  • Meet / exceed established utilization goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of digital healthcare strategy experience including peer benchmarking, spend analysis and related recommendations on opportunities, overall IT organization structure and operating model review, and identification of emerging trends and opportunities

  • Cross-functional knowledge of business systems (i.e. ERP), clinical systems (EMR, ancillaries), and IT infrastructure

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in related fields

  • Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations

  • Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects

  • Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities

  • Travel may be up to 50%

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP

  • This position is open to candidates virtually from EST, CST, PST time zones as well as AZ, UT.
