Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computational life sciences.
15 years of domain specific experience designing and architecting customer solutions.
5 years of experience in program or project management.
2 years of consulting or implementation experience.
5 years of experience working in or with public sector customers.
Experience communicating with senior executives in both business and IT and experienced in senior sales engagements.
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Able to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive projects efficiently.

As a Public Sector Customer Engineer, you will work with the Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective, existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks.

Apply industry experiences to design customer solutions, collaborate with sales, services, sales, training, support and to help partners and customers learn to leverage Google Technology.
Leverage knowledge and domain expertise to guide customers through their transformation journey and act as a trusted advisor.
Devise strategy and engage with Google ecosystem - Customer Engineers, Solution Architects, Account Managers, Professional Services and Partners - to define the optimal customer engagement with Google accounts.
Provide thought leadership that benefits customers through the use of Google’s Services. This takes the form of contribution to external publications such as the blogs, technical content and solution reference architectures, as well as training of Solutions Architects, Customer Engineers, Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and Educators.
