Cisco Solutions Architect, Healthcare in RTP, North Carolina

What You'll Do

CX AMERICAS is hiring a Solutions Architect for our Healthcare Vertical Team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Cisco healthcare solutions for CX (Customer Experience) and work across with CX delivery leaders, Cisco Industry Group, CX product house and the Business Unit.

You will be responsible for:

• Bridging the gap between healthcare business problems and technology solutions, while finding the best tech solution

• Experience in requirement identification, scoping designing, and implementing of projects, to run on-time and on-budget delivery of integration and customization solutions

• Actively lead the design and implementation of Cisco healthcare solutions:

? Conduct technical discovery, identify pain points

? Defining features, phases, and solution business and technical requirements

? Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered

? Creating a solution prototype

• Drive solution delivery improvements through automation, testing and best practices

• Apply methodology, reusable assets and previous work experience to consistently deliver high quality work

• Compare solution alternatives across both technical and business parameters which support the define cost and service requirements

• Interact with professional services delivery, Product Management and BU teams to integrate and automate our offers to improve quality and customer experience

• Use innovative approaches to solving problems, with a large base knowledge of systems and approaches

• Engage and pressure test roadmaps and timetables, and influence Product Managers to improve products and conduct limited customizations for healthcare vertical

Who You'll Work With

• Collaborate with the CX delivery leaders, Technology and Transformation Group (TTG), Sales, CX Product Management team, Cisco Industry Group and the Business Units to ensure that healthcare customer solutions are created and implemented.

Who You Are


• At least 7 years of solution implementation, architecture evaluation and design, including 3+ years relevant healthcare industry IT experience

• It is a plus to have 3+ years' experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer, in technical pre-sales, preferably with an Internet or "Big 4" consulting organization

• Knowledgeable of baseline SE skills and in-depth knowledge in at least one specialization in either Collaboration, Security or Cloud / Data Center

• Experienced in relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications

• Comfortable understanding, explaining, exploring 3rd party APIs for integration/consumption

• Experienced with full software lifecycle development including source control, iterative development, and rapid prototyping

• Experience in current agile methodologies, specifically Scrum

• Enjoy working with others in a diverse environment, locally and remotely

• Deep interest in collaboration and automated deployments, so they are clean, predictable and repeatable with minimal impact to availability

• Understand the principles of configuration management and release engineering

• Possess deep analytical and problem-solving skills when required to assist with service recovery in the event of failure

• Able to lead meetings with customer senior management to gain approval on recommendations and implementation plan

• Working with cross functional teams such as engineering and product management to provide feedback and support the evolution of the platform and solution offerings
