Change Healthcare Sales Executive - Healthcare IT (InterQual) in Salem, Oregon

Sales Executive- InterQual (West/Midwest/Southwest)Overview of PositionThis role is responsible for selling Decision Management Products and Services (e.g, InterQual), into the payer market (including medical groups) within a defined territory. The Sales Executive will be responsible for seeking out and closing new clients and expanding new markets. The Sales Executive will work amongst various departments, including: product management, client experience, finance, training, project management, and account management to assist in closing sales and to ensure the sales process adheres to Change Healthcare’s internal standards.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Ownership of assigned territory – drive sales process to establish new sales into payers, medical groups and new markets within the territory through established leads generation program, cold calling, and persistent communication efforts

  • Working collaboratively with the account management team to drive sales into existing accounts

  • Working with internal teams to assess processes around training, project management, finance, and CRM management

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years demonstrated successful sales experience in a new account payer or medical group market setting

  • Experience selling healthcare cloud software and/or services

  • Knowledge of medical management/utilization management functions within payer and/or medical group settings

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Preference given to candidates who have experience selling InterQual and/or any clinical decision support software, or a clinical consultant who’s been in a pre-sales role

  • This role requires a creative, collaborative, experienced sales executive that is at ease discussing utilization and case management, quality improvement initiatives, payer finances and contracting mechanisms related to decision support cloud software and services

  • The Sales Executive should have excellent communication and presentation skills (both virtually and in-person) and be a self-starter who is disciplined to work remotely

  • Demonstrated drive to attain expert knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, use of CRM tools, marketing and/or service policies and procedures. May be tasked with introducing new products

How much should I expect to travel?

Currently a remote position. Future travel up to 25%

Territory: West/Midwest/Southwest

Colorado Residents Only:

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $77,045.00 - $158,025.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role.
