83279BR Lead Healthcare Executive (Nursing) ExecutiveJob DescriptionAs a Lead Healthcare Executive, you will partner with Cerner clients to holistically impact clinical performance, outcomes, and satisfaction on client projects. You will collaborate across internal organizations to represent client imperatives and advance solution development, design, deployment strategies and implementation methodology. You will synthesize industry information, including trends, best practices and other information, to produce internal and external communiques and recommendations. You will drive value achievement through partnership with client leadership, positioning clients to be recognized within the industry and gaining alignment as a strategic partner. You will lead accountability for partnerships with internal stakeholders to optimize clinically-driven revenue cycle workflows to achieve financial performance goals. You will promote and contribute to the reference-ability and optimization of a client care delivery system. You will execute complex short-term projects to meet client objectives and identify future sales opportunities, as well as, develop longitudinal relationships with key client executives and drive key discussions concerning strategy, structure, management and operations.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:At least 2 years of experience in a licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experienceAt least 8 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the jobMaster's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or Public HealthPreferred Qualifications:At least 5 years of Nursing experienceAt least 5 years of Project management or health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experienceExpectations:Active registration or license in a clinical discipline and has not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to improprietyEligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global trainingWilling to travel up to 60% as needed (may include international travel)Must reside in Kansas City, MO, or a virtually approved locationWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
