We are seeking an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager, to join our West Coast team. You will provide strategic insight to our clients through the delivery of research services. You are conversant in quantitative & qualitative research design, interpretation and analysis of results, and have an exceptional flare for building and maintaining client relationships Key Responsibilities Independently manage and coordinate all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, analysis and interpretation of results through to preparation of reports and delivery of presentationsManaging key operational partners (data collection, data processing and results reporting) to ensure that reliable results are delivered to client in a timely, cost-efficient mannerMaintain a project budget and work with team to ensure all aspects of the study continue to operate smoothly and on timeFoster strong client relationships and work to develop those relationships through frequent client contact including travel to client sites, leading meetings/presentations, and delivering insightful, thoughtful research.Work seamlessly across all Ipsos service lines to provide solutions that meet our clients' needsProvide training, guidance and support to junior staff Required Skills:Ideal Candidate has the following Skills and Experience 4-6 years of direct market research experienceProven experience building and managing productive client relationshipsKnowledge of the health and pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.Knowledge of biotechnology products is a plusAble to effectively manage operations, budget, timelines, of complex or large-scale projectsData savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracySound understanding of research principles, design, and methodologiesResourceful, pragmatic and flexible but always standards-orientedEnjoy working in a team environmentExcellent written & verbal communication skills with well-developed experienced interpersonal and presentation skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasksStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems; SPSS or similar a plus, but not necessaryData visualization skills in PowerPoint a big plusBachelor's degree or higherDevelop strong client relationships to the point where s/he is sought out as a thought partner and is receiving RFPs from clientsGrasps key issues quickly, understands the "big picture", and links mark
