Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Director in CIO Advisory for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.
Lead client engagements and be responsible for the quality and on-time creation of project deliverables in the Healthcare Lifesciences market
Identify and communicate engagement findings to client management
Direct business and market development efforts including identifying opportunities, developing relationships, scoping prospective engagements, and developing proposals
Assist with developing or updating firm methodologies regarding infrastructure operations
Present thought leadership at internal training classes, external events, and client environments and work across KPMG service lines to identify teaming opportunities
Lead and provide performance management for staff
A minimum of ten years of consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy or Big 4 firm, with a focus on the healthcare or life sciences industry
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred
Deep industry knowledge and experience in consulting for healthcare or life sciences, including payer provider, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and experience leading consulting teams in this sector
Proven experience of articulating and advising on strategic issues in the healthcare life sciences industry and experience in the following strategy consulting areas: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience
Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and a strong business development track record; experience leading client delivery teams and solid project management skills,
Ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated knowledge of IT operations, systems, architecture, technical controls, data-centric issues, and considerations
Travel as needed
