Description: If you have experience in audit/public accounting with healthcare, nonprofits, state and local governments, then this position is for you! We are looking for Senior Accountants and Managers who are seeking a leadership opportunity that will allow them to develop auditing skills and the technical/soft skills necessary to advance their professional career and help healthcare systems thrive!
This position is open to multiple locations including Remote, some travel required
Oversee and work on audit engagements (pre-audit planning and fieldwork) under supervision of Manager and/or Partner
Internal controls testing, financials preparation and analytical review
Provide continuous attention, communication, and coordination to clients
Develop and nurture ongoing relationships with clients and their personnel
Obtain client expectations from management team and develop plan to meet client expectations
Calculate project hour/cost budgets
Act as a Peer Advisor and mentor for new staff and provide valuable feedback
C oordinate with Manager and/or Partner to meet deadlines and communicates scope changes
Promptly and efficiently inform Manager and/or Partner about issues and assist in the preparation of solutions or information to be communicated to client
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required at minimum
3+ years of experience in public accounting/private
2-4 years of experience working with Healthcare, Nonprofits, State and Local Governments (preferred)
