Our healthcare editor/writer will be expected to use the appropriate brandvoice, the writer will create compelling content on a variety of healthcare topics tailored to multiplemedical specialties, including primary care, dental, mental health, nutrition, and urgent care. Thecandidate must have a deep understanding of keyword placement and SEO, and be an expert in creatingpowerful healthcare content that will increase organic search rankings, social media engagement, anddrive leads through websites and email campaigns to deliver measurable results.

*This role is based in Tampa, FLKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Writes clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice

  • Create compelling healthcare content, including blog posts, articles, email campaigns, website content, social media content, and ad copy for multiple online channels

  • Interprets copywriting briefs to understand project requirements

  • Write quickly, creatively, and accurately under deadline pressure

  • Adapt to changing circumstances, making last-minute revisions based on client needs and direction

  • Collaborates with Marketing team on large- and small-scale projects

  • Conducts high-quality research and interviews

  • Edits and proofreads copy

  • Uses SEO principles to maximize copy's reach

  • Sources images and other content

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Meeting deadlines to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full, and on budget, while not compromising the quality of work


  • Degree in English, Journalism, Health Sciences, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Copywriter in the healthcare industry

  • Previous experience with WordPress is a plus

  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including keyword placement, SEO, and web analytics

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative and results-oriented healthcare content

  • Strong research skills

  • Creativity

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Work independently and also within a collaborative team environment
