As a Data Analyst, you will directly support the Quality (MRA/HEDIS) Team and activities that aid and leverage our Team function. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Provide analytical support to the entire Quality (MRA/HEDIS) Team to ensure program goals are effective and support quarterly as well as annual performance standards.
Strategically identify opportunities for improvement
Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external teams
Attend, participate and facilitate (as needed) training forums (anticipated weeknight or weekend)
Leverage Quality (MRA/HEDIS) tools to assist Quality Analysts in successful delivery of patient statuses
Run reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics
Ensures 100% accuracy of reports
Automate reports; and deliver presentations
Displays expert level Excel skills
Ability to execute reports, organize data, pivot tables, reference, lookup, logical math and text functions
Ability to create graphs, charts, dynamic charts and dashboards
Comfortable working with macros
DIsplays strong communication skills and ability to effectively educate and present on data findings
Ability to work unsupervised with a dynamic client organization
Expected to work evenings to enable handoff of tasks and ideas
Collaborate with Healthcare SMEs to understand requirements and data, then translate into technical specification for data loads.

Additional EDUCATION & SKILLS Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics or other analytics related fields preferred.
Expert level knowledge of Excel REQUIRED
Previous healthcare data analysis experience strongly preferred (to include internships)
Proven ability to work with Google Suite software or equivalent (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
Experience with SQL or other such tools
Experience with health plan or IPA or large provider group
Experience with MRA or HEDIS data analysis
Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities
Experience performing data discovery, analysis and profiling.
Experience creating logical source-to-target mappings
Very strong sql query language skills.
Strong presentation, consulting and customer relationship skills
Must be able to work professionally with confidential information (HIPAA)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Ability to shift focus, multi-task, and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
STRONG reasoning and critical thinking required.
MUST be results oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery.
